Bear is a great NZ bred multi discipline pony. He could easily focus on one and excel. Saddle Hunter, Pleasure Pony, Working Hunter, RTR, Pony Club, Show Hunter, up to Mini Prix SJ and  Field Hunter! We would love to see Bear having variety in his life and not just a competition pony because he loves hacking out going to the beach, forest and on road or farm rides, he is super safe and not spooky.
 
Bear is a chunky pony, with a quiet, gentle nature. He has an impressive trot, big movement, is well-balanced and has a super rhythm. Wins wides on the flat and ribbons. He has a big bouncy trot so not ideal for a beginner. 
 
He is a bold jumper with fabulous knees and style over a fence. Bear is the sire of the PGP Ngahiwi Roany Pony, who is very well known and successful in competition, proving he has genes with natural ability and scope.
 
Sadly on Easter weekend 2022, Bear lost his near side eye in a shocking paddock accident. But it has actually been the making of him, he has to trust his rider 100%, he is fantastic to take out and is such a cool pony. 
 
He is low in pecking order, Bear gets bullied, so we paddock him alone or with chill, kind horses.
 
Excellent to catch, rug, wash, clip, for farrier, dentist, float, truck, take out and to handle in every way.
