Handsome dark bay gelding with bling.

Lockie has been well handled, his manners are impeccable. He was shown in-hand as a youngster, broken in 2025 and the past 12 months been hacked out, had light flat and jump schooling, and has attended his first shows and was in the ribbons, he even received qualifying points for SH.

Lockie is a big teddy bear with a beautiful willing nature. He has been a breeze to bring on, he has beautiful floaty movement, isn’t a plod and isn’t forward moving he is just in the middle, holds himself in a frame and is the sweetest pony.

Lockie is a dream to catch, handle, tack up, trim, float etc. Happy hacking out on a loose rein, isn’t spooky, a safe and calm clompety.

Lockie has had a fright with poles and showjumping, no matter what we do he reverts back to being terrified. We plan to take him to an XC course and will find some hunt spars to see if this is his potential career path - failing this, he will be an ideal farm and trekking pony for a child or small adult rider, or could certainly win wides in showing and welsh classes with a competitive wee rider.

Disclaimer: Lockie fractured his front leg when he was a yearling, he was treated by vets and nurses back to perfect health by his breeder. His leg healed 100% and is stronger than ever. We have had zero issues around this.

Lockie stood as a stallion at Nitro Equine for two seasons, we have four beautiful foals by him. He is a bit of a dick with some mares he will chase around the paddock, other boss mares he is absolutely fine. Great with geldings and even runs in the paddock happily with our stallion, they are bro’s.
